The Methodist Girls High School Global (MGHS Global) Alumni is committed to supporting young girls, which has led to the developing of a comprehensive Mentorship Program. The Mentorship Program is designed to empower girls and give them the tools they need to succeed.
The vision of the Mentorship Program is to leave no girl child behind by providing mentorship and guidance to young girls in Sierra Leone. The program is open to girls aged 12 to 18 who are Methodist Girls High School students or from the surrounding communities.
The Mentorship Program will be delivered by a team of trained mentors who will support and guide the mentees. The mentors will be carefully selected and trained to ensure they possess the necessary skills and experience to guide and mentor the girls effectively.
The program will focus on developing girls’ leadership, life, and entrepreneurial skills, emphasizing education, health, and community development. The mentorship will be conducted through various activities, including workshops, training sessions, and one-on-one mentorship.
The Mentorship Program will also provide a platform for the girls to develop and build relationships with successful women in their communities, who will serve as role models and provide guidance and support to them.
The overall goal of the Mentorship Program is to provide young girls with the necessary tools to become confident and empowered leaders in their communities. It is a critical initiative that will enable young girls to overcome the challenges that hinder their progress and prepare them for a successful future.
In conclusion, the MGHS Global Mentorship Program is a game-changer that will positively impact the lives of young girls in Sierra Leone. It is an opportunity for them to gain mentorship, guidance, and support from successful women in their communities and become the future leaders of tomorrow. The program will also contribute to the overall development of Sierra Leone by empowering young girls and creating a better
